(Oneida, NY) The Madison County Factual Society has a summer program for children ages 9 to 12 that explores the day in the spark of life of a nineteenth century child. The summer caravan site will be held Aug. 17 through Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The program consists of a series of workshops; from making scrapbooks, to working with foremost resources, to learning and practicing Victorian etiquette, baking, candle making, and r-play.
Snack will be provided. Participants must bring a bagged lunch each day.
Teaching is $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers.

SC seeks status report on beggar homes in Delhi
NEW DELHI: The Masterful Court on Tuesday wanted to know the status of defy homes in Delhi as the government had taken a series of measures to rid the streets of begging peril ahead of Commonwealth Games in October.A Bench comprising Justices Dalveer Bhandari and Deepak Verma asked petitioner's judgement Indra Sawhney and additional solicitor general Mohan Parasaran, who appeared for Delhi administration, to pay surprise visits to the homes set up for lodging beggars to repression on the facilities. With an estimated 60,000 beggars, most of whom go about their business at traffic intersections and punctilious places, the government had stated that it was geared to tackle the predicament by taking action under the anti-begging law as well as by implementing rehabilitation measures.
On decree that drug abuse among beggars was quite rampant, the domination had decided to engage NGOs in providing/supplementing de-addendum treatment in beggar homes.
