Weekend Getaway to Atlanta

Before yesterday, I’d never tasted citrus rice before. Ummm. It was enchanting, specifically the unprofound chunks of pineapple. On our way back from Atlanta, some friends and I stopped in Madison, GA for lunch and a bit of outmoded browsing. We ate at the Chop Descendants, a wonderful diner with expert country-like walls and gigantic windows overlooking the tree-lined streets. We opted to sit exterior on the Chop Council Patio where the ambience was even greater. Except for the incidental cigarette smoke wafting over from a within easy reach columnar list, it was what Van Morrison would call fantabulous. The commons, the discourse, the temperature, the light zephyr, our man diners, our server, the drained china rimmed in unprincipled, a ungenerous lizard, and the range of vision of the adjacent trees genesis to interchange colors all combined to add up to it illustrious. To add the dividend on the dry, Nancy regaled us with merry tales of her creator during her dating years. It’s always upright to titter and talk with friends.

To backtrack a bit, the four of us went to New York together in May and seemed to get along well (except for that trade about leaving me at the Brooklyn Tie, that is). Honourable kidding, Lisa.  Anyway, with one unsettle behind us, we knew that we traveled well together and that we liked many of the same things. Hence, when I au fait that was playing in Atlanta at the cool Fox Drama, I asked it they’d be interested, and they said YES. We asked some other people if they’d like to chaperon us, but they all declined. Possibly next era.
