Kris Kringle Haus returns to Orland
Known for it's hip assortment of Christmas decor, Kris Kringle Haus will show up shop in Orland Park Friday, Oct. 23.
Open for only the furlough season, the shop's location will be the same as 2007 — 15345 S. LaGrange Avenue, near Jared's in the Orland Park Place Mall.
This year will objective the 20th Christmas for Kris Kringle Haus, who will celebrate its current 20th anniversary in June 2010. However, the Christmas shop will keep the anniversary with special deals and promotions, which the owners, Jim and Cleo Gierucki, said will alter spontaneously.
Kris Kringle Haus originally opened in 1990 in Geneva, Ill., and was the largest year-orb-like Christmas shop in Illinois for 16 years. Responding to changes in the marketplace, the accumulate began opening only for the season in 2006, and in the Southwest suburbs closer to the owners' up on in Palos.
From its first days, Kris Kringle Haus has specialized in importing faithful handcrafts direct from Europe, from the very countries where most Christmas traditions wake up from — Germany, Poland, Italy, Ireland, Denmark, Austria, Russia, the Czech and Slovak Republics and the Undefiled Land as well.
