At the former discovery, space was tight.
"We now have a private, functional space where we can rally with our clients," co-owner Whitney Swaffield said. "Now, there is also a construct space where I can work on the premises."
Gus & Ruby Letterpress opened at the new setting on July 8.
"The number of people coming into our new space has been awesome," Finigan said. "We really loved our old neighborhood and our morality friends at Deer Street, but we took this opportunity to have more lapse and more visibility."
While the added space has allowed Gus & Ruby to extend their product line, both owners said they plan to hold one's ground to their roots as a custom design letterpress.
"We only carry artisan and layout-savvy products," Swaffield said. "Also, about 95 percent of our products are made in the U.S. and from miniature companies."
One example of a new product is Sea Bags, made in Portland, Maine, produced by women.
"Each bag is influence assembled from recycled sail cloth," Finigan said. "Their tag frontier is their bags have sailed around the world."
