Q In September my two daughters and I would like to fork out a night (Friday or Saturday) in a hotel/spa resort. We would like to have spa treatments on the Saturday. We would like to go to Cork, Kerry or Limerick. Do you have any suggestions?

A spa separate from is always lovely and I can suggest the following hotels/resorts. In Killarney the Brehon Guest-house has the Angsana Spa with very nice Thai therapists. The Brehon offers weekend spa packages from around €249pps with dinner one evening and a back stunner treatment or Thai massage, 064-6623917, thebrehon.com.

In Cork the Castlemartyr Resort, besides having the spa with Anne Sémonin products, has fetching grounds to walk or cycle in, castlemartyrresort.ie. The one-night spa package deal costs from €165pps and includes a treatment.

Also in Cork, the Fota Holm Resort has a great spa with lovely relaxation rooms, and the hydrotherapy number is perfect for relaxing stiff muscles. It has a one-night precise of €269 a room, based on two sharing. This includes a treatment (fotaisland.ie).

In Limerick No 1 Pery Full, a boutique hotel in the city, has a very nice spa (but no pool) and uses breathing Irish products.

Montpelier Plantation, a Delicious Destination on Nevis

Nevis, West Indies has to be one of my favorite islands in the Caribbean.  Not only pretty, with lustrous plastic beaches and tropical rainforests, it has a retired consider that you don’t get from its sister isle, St. Kitts.  From strong end ( Four Seasons ) to dives ( Sunshine’s ), there is a perceptive individuality for visitors.  Following a good word from a college POSSLQ = 'Person of the Opposite Sex Sharing Living Quarters', Boyfriend and I enjoyed one of our favorite meals on the key at Montpelier Plantation .

Montpelier is a magnificent, intime resort on a 30-acre, former sugar plantation with a redolent record dating back to the 1600s.  Two generations of the Hoffman people run the digs (the son and daughter-in-law are the former managers of the Immature Turtle Lambaste on one of the most underrated islands of the Bahamas), and everything from the accommodation to the décor to the landscaping is spotless.

Although Boyfriend and I did get frenzied disquieting to find the resort after evil (not an uncommon chance in Nevis), the huge, knarled tree at the admission took our touch away.  We enjoyed cocktails and canapés in the Tremendous Live till to being seated at The Terrace, where we mingled with some of the inn guests and marveled at the holder’s dogs that dropped their tennis balls in the doorway but knew haler than to procedure a paw indoors.  Afterward, we enjoyed three aperture-watering courses and marveled at the sizeable wine laundry list.  We’re still stressful to beginning the wonderful New Zealand Pinot Noir in the U.S., but not having much serendipity with that one.
